The Steelers have signed kicker Shaun Suisham to a contract extension that will now run through the 2018 season.
Suisham is ranked first in Steelers history with an 87.2 conversion mark, and went 30-32 in field goals last season. His 129 points ranked him at fifth most in a single season.
He has been around for the last four seasons and is set to make $1.425 million this season. Finding a kicker that can do well in Pittsburgh is always a challenge so this extension should come as no surprise.
In his career, Suisham has made 182-of-219 field goals for 229-of-231 points.
Financial terms of the deal were not released.
